Logging in as new member. My son is about to buy a Cayenne twin turbo and I have a few questions about it. We intend to travel to some classic car meets and pull a trailer (Austin Healey). Weighs about 5000 LBS. loaded. (No it is not a trailer queen, my son is an incomplete para and cannot ride in the Healey very long.

My question? Anyone towing with the Cayenne? How does it do in the wind. Seems like a lightweight vehicle and very small. His other choice was a Touareg Diesel but they are scarce.

Seems as though there are a lot of Cayenne's on ebay. Any body know why?

Thanks,

REDBN4:)

I think read somewhere that the Cayenne can pull around $7500 lbs. I'm not sure which model it was.

The Cayenne TT should have no major issues trailing a Healey/trailer.

From what I have come to understand the vast majority of Cayenne's on ebay are repos. Be careful on that note. These are the ones sold from dealerships who have several more listed at the same time; and usually they have less than 10K miles. But in that same respect there are enough legits, just do your homework and always VIN check. And if at all possible buy locally, when I bought my brother's FC on ebay the guy selling it let us come out and inspect it before bidding.
