Newbie needs opinions from Porsche Gurus!

Hi, My name is Mike. I'm a dieselengine fuel system design engineer, and I own a 2001Subaru WRX which I have added a second turbo, clutch, lowering springs, struts and a body kit (and a lot more). I take it to the track and have done couple local rally's.Ialso just turned 30.My wifehas agreed (miraculously) that I can buy a porsche. Iwant a project car. Ie I want to strip it and build mydream car from the ground up.Myrequirements are: 911,all wheel drive, aftermarket parts and performnace upgrades are available. I need help to decidewhat vehicleto start with?? I was thinking a mid 80's to 90'sAWD 911. its got to have potential and aftermarket support. Pleasegive me your opinion on what years, models to look for. Thanks</P>
