custom turbo?

What would you need to make your own turbo set up besides the turbocharger the custom pipes and injectors? im hopping to get as most hp as i can with $7000, the custom turbo setup seems to be cheaper but it gives me more WHP, im looking to possibly turn a 1988 944 turbo into a road race car..last question. Do any of you know a place that sells internals for high HP 944's? thanks EDIT: also can i add a NOS tank with a turbo setup running so much HP?

Intake, programming, piggyback controller, adjustable fuel pressure regulator to start with.

Carillo or Pauter rods, JE pistons. Since you are in there, you might as well crossdrill, lighten, and balance the crankshaft as well.

do you have any preforance on the programming and fuel pressure regulator? Carillo seems to say "high performance" Pauter doesnt say anything...haha....And also when i order the pistons its theresome link to all the engine information...Block hieght, max RPM...etc what will modding thecrank shaft do, wouldnt it be easier to get a racing one,ive been asking a lot of questions sry:D[sm=sorry.gif][sm=thanx.gif], i was used to Bmw which i didnt do the modding on, i just raced them, so now im new to the whole porsche idea ,

If you want a good bolt on kit, John @ Vitesse racing is the way to go (turbo, maf, piggyback, injectors, chips, all in one package). He has the best kits on the market period. You can also purchase everything in stages from him as well. I am not going to bash Dave Lindsey, but I am not going to recommend him either. Dave has some good products and some not so good products, but I think he personally has the attitude like he is top dog, and it comes across like that as well. If you can deal with Wes at Lindsey, then go for it. Wes has always been good to me. John at Vitesse has cars out there putting down almost 600whp.
