1985 911 carrera - need wiring help (headlights)
 

1985 Porsche 911 Carrera

I do not have the owner's manual and have been searching around to get some assistance on electrical issues I am having. Currently all wiring seems to be working correctly except the front headlights.

Based on the fuse layout, there are 4 associated with the front headlights and after doing some testing (I replaced a known good fuse into all 4 of the associated headlight fuses and it did not work)....they are the only four that are not working at all. I put a voltage meter up to them and get nothing. Again, all other fuses are working fine on the boards.

None of the relays above the fuse board are labeled as associated with the headlights. My questions are:

- is there a relay somewhere other than the ones in the fux box in the trunk?
- where is my next place to troubleshoot? As in, where/how does the power run to that fuse? I cannot find a layout online. Naked eye can see the wires go into a group of cables in a casing, but I will most likely need to pull up the fuse box (timely) to be able to trace it out.

Help....obviously I am far from an electrician...an obviously do not want to pay what a mechanic will charge if this is a rather easy fix.
