2000, 2001, 2002?

I'm in the market for a 911 Coupe. I learned that Porsche improved the 2002 model significantly. Since price matters, and the 2000 cars are more affordable, is it worth stepping up to the 2002? The price spread appears to be about $15 between a 2000 and a 2002. I'd love to get some thoughts on this. Thanks
