996 Short Shift Kit Options?

So my first mod needs to be a SSK. I like short clean shifts and the stock shifter is not even close to cutting it for me.

Ive searched and saw some talk about B&M but I was curious if there is anything newer/better out there.

B&M and the Porsche SSK are the same shifter. There are also the chinese knockoffs of the B&M which, once you turn the handle around, are just as good. They copied the right hand drive shifter, so for us with left hand drive, you have to just remove the pin, flip the shifter around, and install it. Sometimes they have done it for you, but most of the time not. If you don't flip it, then the shift knob points off to the left of center once installed.

Check out www.evoms.com. That is where I got mine. They now offer a couple of different short shift kits.
