Cool air cooled porsche radiator holes overheating?

air cooled porsche radiator holes

I have never had a car with a air cooled system. Every car I had used coolant and water to cool the motor

I was wondering if the air cooled motors will overheat if they get holes in the radiator or hoses ?

this is an interesting thought

There is one engine fan which cools the engine when the motor is running. There aren't any radiators or hoses or plumbing of any sort, just the fan which directs air to the top of the engine and downward through the sinks in the cylinders, etc. Works excellent in most conditions with the exception of stop and go traffic when it is extremely hot out, then the motors tend to run a little warm.
