blown headgasket - oil in coolant/in oil

Question for all of you out there. I have a 2000 911 with a blown headgasket and very large bill to fix it. A friend just told me about something called Thermagasket, that supposedly this will fix the issue and seal it all up. Anyone out there hear of this, have any experience with it?

that can be used. however, think of it as a bandaid.. it is kinda like "fix a flat" for a head gasket. and if you know anything about fix a flat.. it is basically used to get you to buy a new tire. LOL.. i would not recommend it .. where are you located.. just curious what are they wanting to hit you with cost wise for the head gaskets?

Arlington, Washington

Thats funny, my wifes name is Barbie as well, a lot of people call her Babs. Its about 4 grand to fix.Probably moreif you consider the cost of a new clutch, which you might as well have done anyway while the motor is out.

Good luck with your1999 911Barbie,

Kevin

There really is no long term good fix to your problem. Your either are going to rebuild the engine and keep the car or dump it.
What ever you do DO NOT USE a very bad outfit in Naples, FL. PM me if you what details.
