Discount on ordered 911?
 

I am looking to order a new 2009 911 - what kind of discount should i expect to get off of MSRP? How doable is 8-9%?

If you buy a new 911 off the dealer's lot you should be able to negotiate a small discount but if you order a new one expect to pay MSRP.

Your best bet for a discount is to take a car from the total USA stocklist of new vehicles either in country or in shipment. There you have a chance for a discount. The size of the discount tends to depend on how long the car in question has been waiting sale.
However if you Order the Car to your Spec and it has to be built thenvery little chance of a discount. But who knows times are hard.

Have your dealer search available inventory for what you're looking for. One will pop up, and then you can start talking discount. You can try the discount questions on the one you're about to order, it can't hurt to ask but I don't think it'll get you anywhere.
