Help with Mirror

Okay, So I own a 1991 Carrera and for some reason the mirror on my driver side is not working properly. In order to move it you need to push down hard and rotate, and you can lift it off the base with ease, which the you can't do to the other. Any ideas what it might be, or what I might do to fix it? I am a major newbe, so thanks for the patients.

Sounds like the motor is on its way out possibly, or something is binding up behind the glass.

It is the entire mirror. Not juust the glass. You can pick the who peice off of the base which sits on the Car.

Oh, lol. Ok, if you turn the mirror on it's base (as if you were folding the mirror housing against the window, or away from the window, there should be a small allen screw once it is rotated in the correct position. Tighten that up and see what happens.
