You will have to remove the struts from the vehicle to install the lowering springs on the struts. it is fairly basic, but if you get stuck, I can walk you through it.

Hi Doc:

I think of trying to lower my 99C2 CAB but fear getting into the project and getting stuck in the middle and not being able to complete it. Then what?

My question, Would I need any special tools to complete this project?

Thanks,
99C2

Really the only special tools you need are a tie rod seperator (not a pickle fork, they will tear the ball joint boots), A t-30 torx bit if you have the bose speaker box, and a large prybar. Everything else is basic tools. You will probably need access to an air compressor with an air impact to get the top nuts off the struts (you will need to reuse your old hats). The impact also helps for getting the tie rod ends off. Everything else is basic handtools.
