how to remove protective plastic ?
 

I got a 997S and just in front of the rear tyres there is some proctective plastic on the body. It has turned a little yellow because of sun and now i would like to remove it. How can i do that ?

You might want to give Plexus a try, it might clean them up.

You should be able to peel it right off. My '06 plastic also got yellowish and I think the factory application is not as good as the aftermarket detail guys' applications. It's an area that gets dirty first and it's probably worthwhile re applying new protective films there for stone chips etc.
Maybe others in this forum have an opinion about whether or not to have the protection there. (or even in the front). On the front you can see that line from the protective clear bra. But is the film worth it for stone chip protection??
Any thoughts from others on this?
