interior windshield coating: suction cup mounts
 

Just purchased a radar detector that includes windshield suction cups. The manufacturer cautions against applying the cups against "anti-lacerative" coatings (on the interior windshield). Sounds like the cups will leave permenant marks.

I have a '03 Carrera. Do they have the anti-lacerative coating on the windshield interior?
