Need advice on a 1985 911
 

I am wanting to purchase my first Porsche 911.
It is advertised as a 1985 3.2 lt Targa (I love Targas)
Here is my conandrum:
The steering wheel has 3 spokes and the arial is on the fender. From what I know, all 1985 models and up have 4-spoke steering wheels and the arial is integrated in the windshield.
Could this be a late registration 1984 (i.e. pre October 1984, as the model years go from October to October) or maybe this is a "Franken-Porsche" ?
This car is a RHD as I am in Cape Town, South Africa.
