Default New Porsche prices?

OK, some people will probably get a laugh, but do Porsche dealers negotiate on new car prices? It seems all other cars there are invoice prices and dealer prices and you try and deal around those numbers, anything like that with Porsche? If so what kinda % deal should you look at? Thanks

Very rarely do i hear that people actually were able to negotiate price new from Porsche. Once in awhile someone gets a break, but it seems more often than not that they stick to their guns.

My sticker price was around 96K and i got 4k off. You have better chances If you do it the last day of the month and also show up with numbers from another porsche dealer.

I'm looking at the same thing, they have an 06 for 95 on the floor and I'm thinking a 5k discount would be nice, they have to have HUGE profit margins.

The answer is yes. Boxsters are routinely deeply discounted and when I was pricing out a new Cayman and it tagged out at $82K, dealer immediately pointed me to a Carrera S on the floor with a MSRP of $88K which he said he could do for about the same price. Hope that helps, good luck Allan

I was able to get a higher percentage off MSRP last year on a Carrera than I was able to negotiate off a Boxster S this year. The Carrera was end of the month purchase, the Boxster mid month. It looks like Porsche dealers still have to meet their quotas.
