New Toy

Hey Guys

This is my first post on this forum plus first time on this forum. I have alot of Audi's, but I just bought my first Porsche about 7 days old, and I have heard this is a really good forum. So I thought I would post some pics of my new toy. Do you have any Mod advice?

RE: New Toy

Welcome to the forum. I have a 996TT and I must say that it's the most fun I've had on 4 wheels. I'd guess you're having a blast with this car. I'd love to upgrade to the 997 like yours but I have 4 kids to put through college first. Since you're such an Audi fan I'm a bit suprised that you're not all over the R8. Seems like quite a car.

I have order the R8 already. But I will not get it till late 08, which sucks. I am looking foward to it.

I modify a lot of 997TT's. Our 997TT can be seen in European Car Magazine May of 07 and July of 07. There will be another 8 issues or so on the car as the build continues. Right now, hp levels are at about the 560 to all 4 wheels, or getting near 700 at the crank. Most of that power comes from intake, exhaust, ecu retuning, and intercoolers.

What is theBEST intake, exhaust, and intercoolers to get for my car? I haveMiltekdown pipes noneres.and cat-back exhaust on the RS-4 and I love the way it sounds and performes.I have been thinking about some wheels also (black) maybe 20's in the rear. Will they fit and if so what is the offset? Thank You.

Fabspeed Gen 3 muffler (dual can like the miltek), fabspeed intake, GIAC flash, EVO intercoolers.

I am not a fan of 20" rims on the cars, but there are plenty of options out there. We just put on Dymag 19" carbon fiber rims. About 15lbs each.

Can you send me a link on the Rims?

Welcome. You have a nice new car. I like Audis, too, but my 2004 S4 was a bit of a disappointment - I got rid of it mainly because it had blind spots (combination of B pillar and headrests) to the left and right rear that worried me -- even had custom headrests (matching the originals but 5 inches shorter) made but it didn't help. Eventually got rid of it at 14,000 miles.
