Default Newbie with questions

I am looking to get a 911 Cab 4 as a daily driver. I live in south jersey so we get some snow but not alot. I had a 1985 911 as a 3rd car. I am thinking my budget is 40-45k. Here are my issues.
[ul][*]What year should I focus on.[*]where should I start to be concered about milage?[*]Should I worry about the all wheel drive where I live. I do not know how a c2 handles in bad weather as well as does the c4 handle so much better in bad weather.[*]Where will I get the most bang for buck. Should I look to spend a little more to hit a certain year or am I safe with my budget.[*]How much value should I put on a hard top? Should I look for this for winter driving? Can I get a hard top later?[*]How is Porsche navigation? Is after market better?[/ul]
