Default oxidation?

anyoneeperienced paint oxidationon their 996? i have a black one which sits outside for now and am worried. experiences/suggestions? thanks

I would contact a good detailer, and have them polish and buff the paint asap to prevent it from getting any worse. Sounds like the car hasn't had a good coat of wax on it in a long time.

Oxidation is why polishing compound is made. Get a pro -- someone who knows how to use it to go over your car. Don't try it yourself -- most amateurs use too heavy a touch.

They have a lot of great paint cleaners out there that aren't as abrasive as compounds.

Autoglym is a good brand of products for the amateur. Have a look at their Paint Cleaner rather than the Polishing Compound.

Take a look at Autopia.com, a site used by a lot of detailers… You’ll get great info there about detailing and ratings on most products they use. I've found it invaluable.
