PO605 PCH ROM Error
 

99 996 81k mi with the check engine light on. Bought a reader/eraser and it had the PO605 and P0455 errors. Erased them and the PO605 error came back. I work in electronics and a ROM error may mean a bad chip. "Yikes" A new gas cap seemed to fix the PO455 error.
Would like to get this light off and get it smogged.
New to Porsche and any help is appreciated.


I live in Los Angeles and there are some great roads to enjoy with a 911.
Went for a spin over Topanga Cyn along PCH to Piuma Road in Malibu and back along Mullholland Hwyto the valley.
That is a great drive and the 911 performed well. Cant wait to get some new suspension and tires and go again.
