Running in a 997 C4S

I remember reading about a debate on whether a new 911 needs to be "run-in". I would have thought definitely yes. Any pointers so when mine arrives I have the best advice? Thanks.

Keep it under 4200 rpm for 2k miles. Vary rpm often and do not drive at one constant speed on the highway. Take long trips as opposed to short 5-10 mile drives. Check oil often and add as necessary but do not overfill. No full throttle acceleration.

I think Casper has covered the important facts. I would tend to use a 3000 RPM limit for the first 1000 miles, from personal choice.
