Default Rust around windshield

What is the best way to fix rust around the windshield? Is there a sheet metal panel to replace this? or have abody shop weld in a new piece after I remove the windshield?

That is not a good place to have rust. You will have to pull the windshield to see the extent of the damage. Hopefully it can just be cleaned up, filled, and repainted.

Thanks Doc, I will take the car to a auto glass place and have it removed. Do you suggest I re-use the old weather strip or just get a new one after the rust repairs?

Got it then I can remove it if I cut the weatherstrip no need to take it to a glass place right?
