Thinking about buying 1983 911 SC. Need some info please.
 

I am new to the Porsche world and need some help. I am tossing around the idea of buying a 1983 911 SC. The price is very reasonable however, the owner who is a friend of mine has told me that the car has a few problems. The car hasn't been on the road for about 3 years due to those few problems. The major one that concerns me is that it stalls out while driving. The owner tells me that the car starts right back up and runs but will intermittently do it while driving. He was told that it could be the coil. I would like some suggestions from people who know these cars. Sounds to me like it could be that or a fuel delivery problem. I have never worked on a Porsche, I know American muscle cars and have restored a few myself. Also what should I look for as far as rust areas and other problems? Thanks for any help.
