Default Voltage Regulator

My 83 ' 911 just doesn't keep the battery charged. Had tech verify generator OK.
with a similar problem on my Austin Healey I adjusted the voltage regulator just
a hair up from facory setting and "perfect" 14-15 volts at 2000 RPM. Has
anyone done similar with Porsche (is it even adjustable) and what's location
of regulator on 911. I know... I know don't fry the wiring!!!!

Default RE: Voltage Regulator

OK..have found that the 83 was 1st year that they incorporated regulator
within the alternator. Still needing ..is it adjustable?...if so and if not/can
only be replaced can the work be done without pulling the entire alternator?
