Ignition lock tumbler removal
 

Saw the process in Clark's garage for removal of the switch assembly but it didn't show how to take the lock cylinder out of the column shaft cast piece. Can anyone tell me. Pictures preferred. My key sticks so I was hoping to find out if it can be repaired without replacing the with a new key/cylinder. Just went to VW dealer. Service guy marked the spot and said to drill 1/8" hole to access pin to push in to release cylinder. Can anyone verify were? Found the document in volumm 4 page 94-5 but the lock assembly looks completely different. Drilled the hole as specified and nothing. There is no release pin below. Were is the correct spot????
