trubles with keeping my 924 started

I am a military brat I bought a special edition signed and all Porsche 924 1981 but sadly could not afford to ship it over seas so I decided to put it in a storage unit and it has been in there for 3 years I changed the oil and put new gas in it changed the spark plugswhat my problem is is that it cranks and starts occasionally but once it drops below 1500 rpms it shutters out and dies any comments on what the problem could be would much appreciated.

Okay,

CIS systems don't like to be not started for long periods time. I would try buying a can of Sea Foam (try Car Quest) for about $8 a can. Lets hope you have just a bit of gas in there, pour the can in and run the motor at about 4000k for like 15 minutes. This will clean out the fuel system. This should do the trick!

Also if that does not work check all your vaccume lines. Mine wouldnt stay running unless i had my foot on the gas found a small hose broken attached to the throtle body and fixed it. Now she runslike a champ.
