2006 997 turbo

Im considering buying a 911 for my daily commute. I live in hong kong where the secondary market is very robust. There is an inflection point at 2 years where you lose a bit of value but after that it is quite linear

I went to the local used car place thinking I would get a basic 997 somewhere 08 to 09 ish but they have a 2006 Turbo for what seems to be an excellent price

It has 17000 km and a full dealer service record and was like most hk cars babied by a chauffeur every day and driven by the owner on weekends a few times a year

Questions:

Can a turbo be an everyday car?

It's 6 years old but ssentially Un driven. How should that affect my thinking? Would you want a 2010 with 50k km or an 06 with 10k. Is that a push?

Are there any issues specifically with an 06 turbo (tip) that I need to know about?

I actually have a fun dive into work, I live in the suburbs, I have been driving an 04 BMW x3 so I want to treat myself, I'm buying a 911 instead of a cayman because I have a baby

By the Way. Is there any way to put a car seat in a 911 ?

A normal 911 would be fine but this turbo has me intrigued. The price points are like I can get an 09s for the same as the 2006 turbo. What would u do?

I like all wheel drive. I rains here a lot but some tell me 4wd doesn't matter in the rain. Thoughts?

Thanks

I would buy the most recent model I could with low miles. An '06 turbo might be a bit faster, but an '09 basic model will be "fast enough" and more robust and recent. Turbos are expensive to maintain, the extra power is not something you use every day. The newer car and its better features are something you will use and appreciate every day.
