928 S4 taillights
 

Don't know if what I'm about to post has been put out before, but here it is anyway. Working on a customer's S4, I found I needed both taillights and bulb socket harnesses. Well, used taillights are scarce to say the least and finding the harnesses has proven futile as nobody has them used and the dealer tells me they are NLA. Cleaning up in the shop a solution was found! Spotted a set of used 996TT taillights w/harnesses and noticed the similarity in the sockets. Upon further inspection they do fit properly once the 928 foam socket seals are transferred. The only other thing left is to splice the main connector from the 928 to the appropriate sockets. Hope this helps somebody else out there.For awhile I thought I was stuck on that one.
