i have just aquired a 1985 porsche 928s4, it was given to me for free! my friends step dad had got a new motor put in it and then spent alot of money having parts put into it the car is now 515 hp at the rearwheels as the dyno said when he got it done! he left for two years to flordia and when he returned somebody had broken the rear window out of the car and stolen the stero and the car would not start he did not know anything about cars.he took it to his garage and now it has sat for another three years and he just gave me the car last week i have ordered a new rear window but i was wondering if anybody could give me some advice on what i should first check into for why the car is not starting or where i could even buy parts for it any help would be appreicted greatly.

Do you have fuel at the rail?

Do you have spark at the plugs?

What type of forced induction is it using to be putting down 515hp?

 

the engine doesnt turn, it has fuel at the rails, i have not checked to see if their is spark at the plugs i plan really to get into it this weekend, and as far as parts to make 515 hp, he told me what he remembers getting done is, bored he doesnt know how much over,new exaust,new intake,headers,pistons,fuel pumps, and teh rest he has no idea i have the dyno sheet to prove how much power it has so i know he's knot lieing but he doesnt remember where he put teh recipets for the 12,000 he put into parts

 

Unless he is using a supercharger, then there is no way in hell that a 928S4 engine is making 515hp. Post a picture of the engine bay.

Lol, I don't think i would say lucky, he has no idea what he is in for financially to keep it on the road. You can afford a boxster or a newer 911 long before you can afford the maintenance on a 928 lol.
