Headlight will not go out
 

I have a problem that I have never encountered before, my headlights on my 1980 Euro 928 will not go out. When they flip back they remain on, when I turn off the ignition the same thing. Needless to say that the battery has drained Has anyone else had this happen and know of a cure.

Tried that, took off the headlight switch lights still stayed on. I tried taking of the combo fuse but was very difficult. Should I tried taking out the fuse?

well the fuse will kill the power to the lights, but that isn't going to solve the problem. Unforutnetly I just don't know all the electrical quirks of a 928 as I haen't dealt with a lot of them. I would look for the headlight relay next.

Thanks, I think I will do that for now since it keeps draining the battery. Will try to see if I can locate the relay switch. The Hayes manual is not that illustrated.
