Will hatch from 82 fit on 79?
 

Hello, new guy here. I have a 79 that I just purchased with some rust damage to the rear hatch. There is an 82 being parted out that is about a 2 hour drive from me. The hatch is being advertised as "S" type. The price on the 82 hatch is pretty low and includes the glass.[/align]
Will this hatch bolt on to my 79? Are the 80's "S" models the one with spoilers? If so, it would be easier for me to fill a couple mounting holes on the 82 hatch then try to repair the existing hatch. I'd have to remove the glass on my rusted hatch fora proper repair, so if a simple swap can fix my problem all the better. [/align]

Am not 100% sure, but I think they will. The only difference is the rubber wing.
