Default 1985 Porsche 944 Oil Leak...Coming from Oil Cooler

I have an oil leak on my 1985.5 944. I degreased and power washed the whole engine compartment with degreaser, hoping to find the source of the problem. As far as I can tell, the oil is leaking from the relief valve plug on the oil cooler. It does not leak too much when the car is off, but as soon as it turned on, I can see a slow drip coming from the plug.

Is this an easy fix? If I am right about it leaking from the relief valve plug on the oil cooler, is it as simple as unscrewing it, putting a new gasket on, then screwing it back in, or is it more than that? I dont want to mess up anything...

This is my first Porsche, so im not as fimiliar on it then my other cars...

Thanks in advance!

Jacob

Come to think of it, I think the oil pressure is reading a bit high. Its pretty much always at about 4 or 5 on the guage, occasionally its at 3 or so when I'm idling. Like I said, this is my first Porsche so I dont know, but that seems to be a bit high for oil pressure...

Cold idle will be 4-5. Once the car warms up after 20 minutes of driving or so, you should see it drop to 2-3 at idle.

You should be able to just pull the relief valve and put in a new crush washer.

Will I need to align it somehow when I put it back in or can I just screw it back in there with no problems?

Thanks...
