1988 944S doesn't start after tune-up
Hi,
I had my 1988 Porsche 944S tuned up (the 15,000 mile service & oils) on 10-25-07 by Ken's Sportech in Campbell. When I left Ken's Sportech, he told me he wasn't sure if he'd fixed the problem (starting). Wednesday, 11-21-07 my car refused to start. I'm trying to figure out how to get the car fixed. Does anyone know someone in Campbell, CA who can fix my car? It has all new spark plugs and tune up parts, but it doesn't start. Best Regards, CBW |

More than likely the reference sensor or hall sensor needs to be replaced. Cap and rotor aren't going to fix a starting issue.

Hey there
I was having a starting problem with mine as well, starts buts its being a little flakey about it. Just wondering what these two sensors do and where they are located? Thanks |
