87 944 ignition problem

alright so im new to the forum so, hi. ive had a 87 944 non turbo for about 4 years now and it runs flawlessly, just hit 96k. Ive never had any problems with it except some times after you start it you have to jiggle the key to get the accesories to work. recently however, it has been very tempermental when it comes to starting. it turns over strong but wont start. but if i come back a few minutes later it will start, or sometimes it will start the first time. it occasionally will cut out when coming to a stop, like the rpm just keep dropping when slowing.i have checked nearley all the connections and the battery leads. I have replaced the fuel pump and checked the connections, and replaced the fuel filter. i am current waiting on a MAF sensor ot try that too, but so far, no improvements have been made. The car is very well cared for and garraged every night, and engine bay is kept in immaculate condition, so that partially rules out corroded connections, most of which i have checked. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

Replace your speed and reference sensors and that should take care of it. If you need to wiggle the key to get accessories to work, then replace the ignition switch as well. 2 separate problems IMHO.
