87 944T need help

I just got a 1987 944 turbo with 126K miles on it. It had been sitting in the previous owners shed for over two years.
The car wouldnt start when I got it and I have put in a new coil, distributor, plugs and wires, a new air filter, and a new fuel level sensor and fuel filter.
Now I can get the car to start if I pour gas directly into the fuel rail, otherwise it wont start. My guess is that the fuel pump is bad. I was wondering where the pump is though. I know in the trunk you can get to the fuel level sensor but there isnt an opening for the pump. Any help would be appreciated.

it is underneath on the bottom side of the fuel tank (passenger side) under a cover. I would first start by jumping the DME relay using 3 wires and see if you can get the pump to kick on that way. Could just be a bad DME relay. Does the tach bounce when you are cranking the car? It should move very slightly as you crank. If not, then your issue is wit the DME relay, Speed and Reference sensors, or the DME/KLR computers.

Yes the tach does bounce when I spin the car over. Ill check the pump tomorrowand see if it will turn on.
