944 new owner

Hi just signed up as i have just purchased my first Porsche an S2 944 year 89 and have a few ****les

When driveing the heater runs hot cold is it supposed to do this?is this what they mean by Automatic temp control?

And the Additional headlights dont work all the others lightsdo .These are the ones either side of the number plate .Are they supposed to come on when the pods are up?

The right mirror only works one way is there 2 motors in the mirrors ?

Many thanks for any help /advice

Your heat should not flutuate like that, I would guess you have an incorrect vacuum line hooked up to the heater control valve, or possibly the resistors need to be cleaned.

Your fog lights will only come on when you turn them on (toggle switch is next to the headlight switch). If you leave the toggle switch on, then they will come on and off with the headlights. At least your parking lights have to be on for the fogs to work.

There is only one motor assembly in the mirror (though it is bidirectional), it sounds like it needs to be replaced.
