951 wont run
 

I have a 1986 944t, just bought this car 2 days ago. It ran fine for the first couple of days, minus a weird idle. Anyway, i was driving home and rolled into the boost and the tach hit maybe 6k. after slowing a bit, the car would not get out of its own way, almost like it was wayyyy to rich, and it was sputtering/jerking. the more gas it got, the worse it did. eventually it just coasted to a stop and died. NOW when i try to start the car again, i have to push the throttle down maybe 10% and keep it there for the car to even give a chukkle before it dies. the weird thing is after it runs/chuckles for 3 or 4 sec. it will rev like normal, hit 5k and then die like it has no fuel. It has an adjustablefuel press.reg., stage II chip, manual boost controller, and a MAF, Any ideas would be great b/c i am new to the 944 scene. PLEASE HELP!!

Check all your hose connections, sounds like you blew a hose off. Could be at the Maf, or a boost hose.

Thanks Doc. I checked all the hose connections of EVERYTHING, and they are all well secured. Ive noticed a little more heat and noise under the hood, so im suspecting an exhuast leak b/c it will run fine when cold but after it warms the symptoms come back. Going to try to find it now!
