Default RE: Bad Differential?

is there a possibility that it is only a cv joint, because it can drive and be pushed but it will lock up..

Default RE: Bad Differential?

It very well could be CV joints, but I tend to think it's the diff. I have not done an investigation, or taken anything apart. I will in the next couple of weeks, time allowing, and post the autopsy results. When I described what happened, the sounds, and such the diff seems to be the consensis...

Paul

Hi crew
Their is a happy ending to this story. I got a tranny for 400 dollars Canadian, and installed it, changed the fluid, and took a chance on the clutch not being cooked. Thankfully, it was not....
The result is a car that is the same as when I bought it....Yeah me......
I was just out for a short ride, and I love this ride.......

I do owe some thanks though.....The guy who sold me the tranny, my local Porsche mechanic, August, and the Porsche Doctor...........
