How much?, are they special?, are the fronts more than the rear?,
and what is the labor costs?

Depends on the quality of shock you are going for. If you want a stock Boge/Sachs shock, figure about 90-100 each for the rears, and about 250-300 each for the fronts. Bilsteins are a much better option, in my opinion, and the cost is not that much more. The sachs shocks and struts I have seen completely shot after 5k miles of use.

Labor rates. About an hour for the rear and 3-4 hours for the front (book time), plus an alignment will be required (range will be from $150-300, as it requires a special tool that most shops will not have). This is where you get to see owning a 944T get expensive.
