damper plate for 944

Hello all,

I'm having a trouble finding a damper plate for my 944, 1985/1 (automatic transmission). It's something like this:

http://images.autopartsworld.com/live/K102129184OEA.JPG

Thespare part number is 944 116 065 02... You can search and find the part usingthe following linkas well:

https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinf...85_KATALOG.pdf

I also wonderwhether 944 116 065 04 supersedes the part I'm looking for. I found 944 116 065 04 from eBay or such sites but the price is almost 1,000usd... So I'm looking forward to receiving your advises and comments... Also, maybe you have a used one in your hand?

Another thing... Do you think that this part is repairable?

Thank you all...

Regards,

Dear Kinderrich,

Yes, I guess so... Yet, it's around 1k usd. I need a used/repaired/cheaper one I guess.

By the way,

Anyone can tell me whether damper plate, flexplate and the flywheel are the same thing or not? :) I'm getting a little confused here.

You can't repair them. 1k for a used damper is crazy. I sell them for 800 new.

Hello Doc,

Hope you're fine... You think I can find a second-hand or a new but cheaper one?
