Drivers side Mirrior

OK, got a loose drivers side mirror and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get one?

Is the mirror loose from the backing, or is the housing loose from the door?

I dont know, I just went and bought the car Saturday, and havent fully paid it off till Mid-Week or something. Im just trying to get everything fixed or ordered before I get it. HTe seller just said to get a new mirror. Its the same ones that are one 911's of the same era I think is what he said. I dont know.

Don't know for sure about the same exact one as 911. Styling is the same. If it is just the glass coming off the backing plate, then you can just get some glue from the auto parts store, the stuff used for replacing the rearview mirror to the windshield, and glue it back into place. If it is the acutal housing, there is a allen (hex) screw that attaches the mirror to the door. Either way, easy fix.

I drove the car saturday and the owner showed me and the housing looked loose from the door. He just said to get a new side view mirror.

The mirror should be available. Try looking at salvage yards around, or I have a friend who could help find one. Some online sources; www.partsheaven.com or www.porschepartsoftexas.com no affiliation with either, just a satisfied customer.

DC Automotive has done fabulous work for me recently. As well as for some friends of mine. I highly recommend them if your looking for salvaged parts.

You may just need to tighten the mirror. There is an allen bolt (6mm? I can't recall) that holds the mirror to the door. Check to see that it is tight. You can swing the flag part of the mirror out of the way to gain access to the allen bolt.
