A few noob questions...

Just purchased a 1986 944 Turbo.

1 - It has not been started in 2 years. Is there anything I should do prior to turning her over? Anything need to be primed? Should I pull the plugs and put a squirt of oil in there? Anything special need to be done with the turbo since it has been sitting for so long?

and

2 - The clutch stays on the floor. Is it the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder? How difficult is the install of each? No stranger to wrenching... I'm a Land Rover owner!

Thanks for your patience!

Two years is not a terribly long time. Squirting oil into the cylinders will probably just foul the plugs and make lots of smoke when you fire the engine. I would (1) charge the battery/check condition/replace if necessary (2) replace the clutch master and slave cylinders and bleed the system (3) bleed the brakes (4) check condition of coolant and flush/refill if necessary (5) change the engine oil & filter. Do this and you should be just fine.
