guages..

I was recently driving my 1986 porsche 944 turbo, when i heard a *click from my dash, when all of a sudden my moonroof stopped working, and all of my guages dropped off to zero. Shortly after, came another *click, and everything returned to normal. I dont know if its a bad relay or what, does anyone else know??
-thanks-
chey

does this only happen when you are putting the roof in motion?

RE: guages..

It happens randomly while im driving, or shortly after i start it up. Thats how it started at least. The past few days my guages wont come back to life at all, and my moonroof is stuck open.(sucks cause its freezing out.)

RE: guages..

no, i havent touched my roof. It must be a fuse or relay, theres no other reason for the guages and now, for me anyway, the engine not to start.
think i might take all my relays out tomorrow, open them up and clean them, im guessing this is a wise move. please tell if its not. It just annoys you when youve spent 2 months restoring the car and you get to the final thing to do and something else goes wrong. oh well, sorry to hear about your sunroof, its 2 degrees here in Southampton UK so I feel for ya!
