Default Injector types?

The saga continues, my dad was going to clean and overhaul the injectors, he ordered the overhaul kit and it arrived. The injectors he took out had green pintel caps. The overhaul kit had yellow pintel caps and none of the seals fit. Is it possible the injectors are the wrong type, someone suggesting that they could be from an S2/Turbo car. Next question, the speed sensor, where does this plug in if you wish to connect it?. 1986/7 944s 16 valve.

You definitely need to make sure you have the right injector kits. The early 944s and 944S cars use different injectors than the 951's and S2's.

The speed sensor plugs into a connector that is exactly like the ref sensor connector, and it should be in the same vicinity.

they definitely can't be 951 injectors...his car would run like crap. the mixture would be WAY too rich, he'd be shooting black smoke out the exhaust and his combustion chamber would be flooded with fuel.
