To People Who know about turbo converstions to a NA 944?

The reality of pursuing such a project is not very good. The best, and most cost effective route to do this would be to start by selling your 944 and buying a 951 (944 Turbo).

You could add a turbo to your 944, carry out the similar upgrades to make your suspension the same, and then upgrade your brakes... this will come out to at least $8K. And for that, you'll have a car that is less valuable for resale than a genuine 951; a car that has a less reliable engine than a real 951; and a car that cannot produce as much power as a real 951 (certainly nowhere close to the GTR).

Next, if this is planned as a track only car, converting a 951 to GTR Piwis Tester II specs would be doable, though very costly. If you plan to drive the car on the street, you'd find the car undrivable.

And if the later, the question really would become just what are you looking for? The basic 944 is a great car... and a car that is more than powerful enough as is when driven with skill. If you are looking for faster acceleration and higher top speeds, then you really should look at a different car (a 951 would offer more of this, but in terms of economy, you would be better off looking outside of cars made by Porsche).
