Autothority. I would also say try Weltmeister, but i wasn't able to find one for your year.
Autothority is really top of the line. Check out their site, they were able to engineer a chip for a 996TT that ADDED 335hp, totaling in at 750whp
they should be able to provide you with a chip that can add 16-18 hp but at least 10hp can be gained for $50 with a cold air kit
i don't know if you have one, but just trying to save you money instead of spending $400 on a chip

FR Wilk is your best bet on the early cars. 8-10hp max, but he will fix hesitation issues the car has.

Cold Air intake will LOSE you horsepower unless you stick the filter in the fender out of the engine bay. In the engine bay, it just sucks in hot air, and will make less horsepower than the stock airbox.

I was actually engenering a way to place the cone filter in the front nose panel kind of where the s2 puts it. I was going to place a metal shield between it and the engine bay, and rig up a small air scoop to draw air in under the bumber. All the pipes are going to be silicon. Should be really fun. I think I've got it all worked out and the best part is that if it does not work I'm not doing anything that cannot be undone. Ths is my plan anyways, I've got all the parts, just a matter of actually getting it all put together. Can you all see any problems with this or anything I need to consider besides normal things like vacuume line routng and what not? I'll post a few photos as I get it worked out.

Oh, so a question relating to chips though... I was considering the Promax chip from england as its fairly cheap compared to the others (as far as I know). Any opinions on that?? They claim about 8-10HP and smothing things out as well.

Thanks

I have tested Promax chips on an S2 and they didn't make anything. 1hp IIRC, with the exact same curve.
