Porsche 944 '83 Passenger Window Motor
I got this car (black inside and out) a couple months ago but the first night the motor went out for the passenger side window (mom sat down and tried to open it and switch popped right off). I took to the shop and they diagnosed it and said the motor was out and it would be about 300 for the motor and 400 for labor. I decided against them doing it. I know its just a tough job for the most part because of the hard to reach spots that are in the door. I already got the motor for 150 and just waiting for it to warm up a little before i lay out there for a couple hours working on this, so any hints/tips/tricks in putting this sucker in? Any advice is more than welcome.
Thanks, Del PS: I already have the haynes manual. |
