Pressure plate bolts
Any suggestions on getting out three frozen bolts from my clutch pressure plate. I thought maybe if I drilled the heads off the bolts I could get access to them once the clutch was removed??? These are standard allen bolts not the sixteen point cheese head ones, for whatever reason three of them are an odd size and nothing I have will fit tight enough to break them loose, the other 6 came out relatively easy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance..

RE: Pressure plate bolts
Cut or drill off the heads, and then you can remove the pressure plate and the bolts will turn out by hand. Not fun, but been there done that.

RE: Pressure plate bolts
I figure i'll try an easy out first and if that fails just drill the heads off. Another question, my old pressure plate has the bolt holes inset and my new one doesn't, i'm assuming i'll need to purchase new bolts but does it take the same type of allen bolt or something different?

RE: Pressure plate bolts
You have to transfer over the ring gear, i think that is what you are missing. Pressure plate itself is flat.
