Rotor Installation

Have gotten my my new rotor and distributor cap. I thought I read somewhere that the rotor needs a specific loctite when installed but cannot remember where I read it. Is this correct?

The screws holding the rotor on need blue locktite, otherwise they will back out and the rotor will free wheel on the shaft.

Thanks, Doc! Do you have any ideas what would cause my rotor to fry? They are too expensive to constantly replace them, would rather fix the cause.

Fry? I have never seen a rotor fry before. I would check your coil.
