Default sparco seats

so i got a great deal on 2 sparco torino II racing seats and 2 sparco clubman bolt in four point racing harnesses. now, i am trying to install these in my 86 944 and i am having some trouble finding the right parts. my questions are... do the universal sliders fit in the 944? also where can i find a harness bar to install my four point harness. finally if the universal sliders do not fit where can i find the correct custom ones. sorry about the long post but i relly need help and any would be greatly appricated. thanks.

I am in the process of installing a sparco seat in an 86 951 right now. We have the 2 side brackets that i believe are standard spacro brackets, but then also needed a base plate which we got from aerospeed. I am in the process of figuring out how all this goes together myself.

i dont know how far you are on yours but yesterday i got my sliders and the rest of the parts needed to install the seats. after i got them all together and set them in the car i saw that the holes to mount the seats to the car with are about 1/4 inch off. also the bar you lift to disengage the sliders is too narrow for the seats. this is making me very frusterated. porschedoc, are you having any of these problems? any one else have any experience with this?[sm=dontgetit.gif]

Ok, i believe there is another hole between the rear 2 mounting holes. I have read that you must drill through the outer plate, and the threaded hole is below it. Just be careful not to drill too far and damage the threads. I am still waiting for my last mounting plate, so i havent gotten very far on it yet. Check out this link, it may help: http://www.tech-session.com/kb/index..._v2&id=92&c=48
