Whats the different between the 944 and the 944 turbo???
 

Im buying an NA 944 and dropping a built turbo motor in it.

other then the turbo, is everything in the NA the same as the turbo model?

Oh off the top of my head: (this is assuming the turbo motor is complete, including intake, fuel system, AC compressor and alternator.

DME
KLR
Gauge Cluster
Engine Wiring Harness
Coolant Tank
Coolant crossover pipe
All associated coolant hoses
Vacuum lines
Turbo cooling pump
Associated relays
Headers, crossover pipe, entire exhaust all the way back to the tailpipe, wastegate
Brake booster heat shield
Radiator
Intercooler
Intercooler piping

How much power can the stock internals on both engines handle?

The turbo engine will go to 350whp without any problem. Above that, you really should strengthen the rods and studs.
